Roger Corbett AO
Chairman
After a long career in retailing, Roger was appointed to the Board of Woolworths Limited and the position of Managing Director of BIG W in 1990. For the next decade, Roger's understanding of the Australian retail sector and changing consumer needs would define his career with Woolworths Limited. Roger possesses an unparalleled level of corporate experience and is a highly respected authority on farm-gate to point-of-sale supply chain management. He is a Member of the Board of Directors of Fairfax Media Limited, the Reserve Bank of Australia and Wal-Mart Stores, Inc.
Peter Corish AM
Managing Director and CEO
Peter has been actively involved in agriculture since 1973 and owns and operates 7,000 ha of irrigation land, 3,000 ha of dryland farming and 5,000 ha of grazing land spread over six properties. He was the former President of the National Farmers Federation and a Commonwealth Government appointment to the National Water Commission.
Steve A Williams
Non-Executive Director
Steve has in excess of 23 years experience in financial markets, predominately as an institutional stockbroker, private equity investor and fund manager. In 2003, Steve successfully founded Saltbush Funds Management as an incubator of boutique Absolute Return and Private Equity Managers. Steve is currently Chairman of Saltbush Funds Management, who originated and developed the concept and intellectual property that formed the basis of PrimeAg Australia Limited.
David Trebeck
Non-Executive Director
David has worked as a professional economic adviser for over 35 years; between 1983 and 2004 with his own consultancy company, ACIL Consulting, and between 1972 and 1983 with the National Farmers Federation and its predecessors. His consulting assignments spanned natural resource management, almost all facets of agriculture, and microeconomic policy reform. He has dryland mixed farming interests in south western NSW and is a part-time Commissioner of the National Water Commission.
Stephen R Williams
Non-Executive Director
Stephen is a partner with the Sydney law firm Kemp Strang Lawyers and practices in the firm's corporate and commercial section and also in areas of commercial property development, structuring and financing. He has over 30 years practice experience acting for companies on their initial public offerings and listing on the ASX and continues in a corporate advisory role after listing.
Mr Peter Young, AM
Non Executive Director
Peter commenced his career as a Cadet at the Queensland Department of Primary Industries and subsequently graduated as a Geologist.
He has been involved in the domestic and international capital markets for over 30 years, and now serves on the Australian Advisory Council for the Royal Bank of Scotland.
He is Chairman of QIC Limited, Chairman of RATCH Australia Corporation Limited (formerly Transfield Services Infrastructure Fund), Chairman of NSW Cultural Management Ltd, Non-Executive Director of Fairfax Media, PrimeAg, RBS Morgans, and the Great Barrier Reef Foundation.
Mr Geoff Hewitt
Non Executive Director
Geoff Hewitt has over 30 years experience faming and owns an aggregation of farms in the Macalister district of Southern Queensland, where his family specialise in the production of irrigated Cotton, and also grow irrigated and dryland grain crops. The farms have twice been awarded Regional Grower of the Year. Geoff also has extensive experience in design and construction of irrigation infrastructure, specialising in the development of cotton farms.
Geoff is a past Chairman of Cotton Australia and a past Director of the Queensland Farmers Federation. He has extensive Natural Resources management experience including 4 years on the Condamine Catchment Management Association.
He is currently Chairman of ProClass Pty Ltd, a cotton classing company which annually classes around one third of the Australian Cotton crop.
Samantha Macansh
CFO and Company Secretary
Samantha has more than 15 years financial management experience with listed and unlisted companies. Most recently, Samantha was Chief Financial Officer for the General Pants Group, a leading Australian fashion retailer. Previously, she spent over 10 years with the Coles Myer Group in various financial management positions. Samantha has family ties to the land at Deepwater in northern NSW.
